 Raising confident black children in a world that tells them they are aggressive, defiant, and less innocent than other children begins with an abundance of love. Love Is Me celebrates how young children show and experience love daily. Teaching children to love themselves and others is the greatest gift we can give them. When children know they are loved and lovable, they have a secure sense of who they are, and their self-esteem is strengthened.

Qiana Davis is a teacher, wife, and mother of three. She loves God, family, reading and traveling. Qiana professes that her purpose in life and as a teacher is to ensure that every child who enters her classroom feels loved and lovable.

"Love Is Me" is an affirmation. Qiana seeks to encourage all children to use this daily affirmation and to believe the best about themselves and others.

Going on a hunt to find a treasure can be a fascinating thing for a child. What child doesn’t like going on a fun treasure hunt? All of the things to find and explore are exciting, but discovering the true Treasure is more valuable than any treasure one could ever find outwardly.

The Treasure speaks to the child in all of us. It is not always what we find on the outside that brings true value and worth to our lives, but it’s the One Who resides on the inside that makes life’s treasure hunts worth going after.

 Every soul that God breathed life into has purpose in the earth. From infancy to adulthood, purpose is unfolding, growing, figured out, and lived out as a ‘thank you’ back to God. Children are precious in the sight of God. It’s never too early to teach them how valuable, prized, loved, and purposeful they are to God. Jeremiah 1 tells us before we were in our mother’s wombs, God knew us. The special bond that God has with all of humanity started way before time – in and with Him. Our children need to be encouraged in knowing just how special they are. 

 Abu is a curious 10yr old with a rich family legacy and so, this book, "The Lesson - Abu's Curiosity" is a children's book about a young boy living in Brooklyn who discovers the traditional West African drum called Djembe. Through his Uncle's lessons and practice, Abu learns to play the Djembe and discovers important life lessons about patience, consistency, and courage. As Abu embarks on his journey, he discovers the joyful power of music and the importance of patience and much much more in mastering any skill.
